Theme Thursday - GHOST

This was tricky for me, but I'm sure you'll consider this musical selection humorous, regardless of the political statement it may or may not be making. In my opinion, quitting your job in the middle of a four-year term is a sure way to give yourself a GHOST of a chance in the next election.

  2. Oh, I shudder when I see this clip. I forgot how horrible it actually was. And the piano just emphasizes it. :P

  4. *groan* Great week for my PC's sound card to act up! I saw the original interview, so it's still indelibly etched in my mind, but what was the tune playing in the background? I'd guess "Linus and Lucy" by Vince Guaraldi, if Subby's comment is any indication.

  6. different approach to TT which is great. my first visit to your blog. I always skim while doing my TT reads but I'm excited to read we have a culinary teacher. you may give pointers! my 3 best friends are from MN...St. Paul, Mnpls, & Int'l Falls. Out of curiosity, do you Minnesotans love Garrison Keillor or how do you feel about him? Just curious.

  7. That was great, Chris. Whoever the pianist was actually succeeded in making that extremely disjointed and incoherent speech sound less so. And you're right, she hasn't a ghost of a chance.
